Willowmark offers facilitated educational programmes focused on supporting adults who wish to prepare for and hold more considered conversations with family members on matters relating to household money and values. Our current offerings are:
- The First Conversation Workshop — a weekend workshop for adults aged 40 and above. Priced at RM 580 per person.

Section 04Enrolment & Registration
Enrolment in a Willowmark programme begins when you submit an enquiry through the Website contact form or by contacting us directly. Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Willowmark and, where applicable, payment of the applicable programme fee.
You are responsible for providing accurate registration information. Willowmark may decline an enrolment request at its discretion, for example where a programme is full or where the programme is not suited to the enquiring participant's circumstances.
Account creation is not required to submit an enquiry, but you agree that the information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Section 05User Responsibilities
When using the Website or participating in a programme, you agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information at all times;
- treat facilitators and fellow participants with courtesy and respect;
- keep shared information from other participants confidential;
- use Programme Materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only;
- attend sessions at the agreed times or give reasonable advance notice of absence; and
- refrain from recording sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent from Willowmark.
You agree not to use the Website or Services to:
- distribute unsolicited commercial messages or promotional material;
- reproduce, copy, or re-sell Programme Materials without written permission;
- engage in conduct that disrupts the experience of other participants; or
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation.
Section 06Intellectual Property
All Content on the Website — including text, design, logos, and programme frameworks — is owned by or licensed to Willowmark and is protected under Malaysian intellectual property law. Willowmark retains all rights not expressly granted.
Upon enrolment, Willowmark grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Programme Materials for your own private educational purposes. This licence does not permit:
- reproduction or distribution of Programme Materials in any medium;
- modification or creation of derivative works based on Programme Materials;
- commercial use of any kind; or
- sublicensing of Programme Materials to any other person.
Any personal written work you produce during a programme (such as a family letter drafted during the Family Letter Cohort) remains your own property. By sharing such work during group sessions, you grant other participants a limited licence to read and respond to it within the session context only.
Section 07Payment Terms
Programme fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment details and accepted methods will be communicated upon confirmation of your enrolment.
Fees are non-refundable except as set out below:
- Cancellation 14 or more days before programme start: full refund of fees paid.
- Cancellation 7–13 days before programme start: 50% of fees paid refunded.
- Cancellation fewer than 7 days before programme start: no refund, but you may transfer your place to another eligible individual with prior written notice to Willowmark.
- Cancellation by Willowmark: where Willowmark cancels a programme for any reason, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future intake.
Refund requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected].
Section 08Programme-Specific Terms
The First Conversation Workshop (RM 580)
This is a single weekend workshop. Attendance on both days is encouraged for the full experience. A printed conversation deck is included and will be distributed on the day. No formal completion certificate is issued; participation is self-directed and voluntary.
Money Conversations Across Generations Programme (RM 1,490)
This programme comprises four evening sessions delivered over a period communicated at intake. Printed worksheets and scenario prompts are included. Small-group facilitation is a key component; the experience is most effective when participants attend all sessions.
The Family Letter Cohort (RM 2,890)
This 10-week cohort involves weekly facilitated group sessions, a printed reader, a peer discussion forum, and a printed binder issued at programme close. The document produced during the programme is personal in nature and has no legal standing of its own. Participants requiring legally binding estate or financial documents are responsible for engaging licensed practitioners independently.
Section 09Disclaimers
The Website and all Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Willowmark makes no representations or warranties of any kind — express or implied — regarding:
- the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of Website Content;
- any particular outcome arising from participation in a programme;
- the quality or suitability of the programmes for your specific circumstances; or
- the continued availability of any programme or Website feature.
Nothing in our programmes or Website Content constitutes legal, financial, tax, psychological, or medical advice. We strongly encourage participants to seek advice from appropriately licensed practitioners for any matters requiring professional expertise.
Section 10Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Willowmark's total liability to you in connection with the Website or any Service — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant programme in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Willowmark shall not be liable for:
- indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage;
- loss of data, profits, or opportunity;
- damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including acts of God, public health emergencies, government directives, or infrastructure failures; or
- actions taken by you based on information shared in sessions by other participants.
Section 11Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Willowmark, its officers, facilitators, and associates from and against any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- your use of the Website or Services in breach of these Terms;
- information you have provided that is inaccurate or misleading; or
- your violation of any third-party rights during your participation in a programme.
Section 12Termination
Willowmark may, at its reasonable discretion, withdraw your access to the Website or remove you from a programme if you breach these Terms in a material way. In such cases, no refund will be issued for the portion of the programme not completed, except where Willowmark determines otherwise in writing.
You may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy set out in Section 7. Withdrawal does not affect accrued obligations on either side.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — will continue to apply after any termination of this Agreement.
Section 13Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Website or Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Before commencing formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us in writing at [email protected] to allow us to seek an informal resolution. We will aim to respond within 10 business days. Where informal resolution is not possible, either party may proceed to formal dispute resolution as permitted under Malaysian law.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking interim injunctive or other equitable relief where necessary.
Section 14General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any programme-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Willowmark regarding the subject matter herein.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Willowmark's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion shall not constitute a waiver of that provision on any subsequent occasion.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from Willowmark. Willowmark may assign its rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Notices: Formal notices to Willowmark should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to the address below. Notices to you will be sent to the email address provided at the time of enquiry.
Section 15Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, applicable law, or operational practices. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the Website or participation in a programme after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
For substantive changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled participants by email prior to the effective date.
