A Considered Space for Difficult Conversations
Facilitated, Not Advised
Our sessions are educational. Facilitators guide conversations — they do not give legal or financial direction. You leave with greater clarity, not a prescribed plan.
Small Groups, Real Dialogue
We keep group numbers small so every participant has room to speak, question, and reflect. You are not sitting in a lecture — you are in a working conversation.
Paced for Real Life
Our programmes move at the pace of the people in the room, not a course schedule. The First Conversation workshop fits a weekend; the cohort builds steadily over ten weeks.
Printed Materials You Keep
Every programme comes with physical printed materials — conversation decks, worksheets, or a personal letter binder — designed to be reread and returned to over time.
Local and Familiar
Our sessions are held in Subang Jaya, Selangor, and draw on Malaysian family dynamics — the expectations, the unspoken norms, and the cultural texture that shapes these conversations here.
What You Share Stays in the Room
Participants agree to a shared confidentiality understanding at the start of each session. We take the privacy of your family's story seriously.

Common questions
Things People Often Ask
Do the programmes give financial or legal advice?
No. Every Willowmark programme is educational in nature. Our facilitators guide conversation skills and structure — they do not give investment, tax, legal, or estate planning guidance. If you need those services, we will point you toward qualified practitioners.
Who are the programmes designed for?
Our workshops and programmes are designed primarily for parents aged 40 and above in Malaysia who want to begin or continue household money conversations with their adult children. Some participants join to prepare before a specific conversation; others come because the topic has been unspoken for years.
Can my spouse or partner join the same session?
Yes, and many participants find it helpful. If you and your partner both enrol, you develop a shared vocabulary before the conversation with your children begins. Each person books a separate place; please let us know at the time of enquiry so we can seat you together.
Where are sessions held?
All in-person sessions take place at our premises in Subang Jaya, Selangor — 38 Jalan SS 15/4, 47500. The space is quiet and designed for focused conversation. Parking is available nearby.
How many people are in each group?
We keep groups small — typically between six and twelve participants. This allows every person to speak, ask questions, and hear from others without the session feeling like a lecture.
What if I am not sure which programme suits me?
The First Conversation Workshop is the natural starting point for most people — it is a single weekend and gives you a good sense of our approach. From there, you can decide whether the multi-session programme or the full cohort is right for you. Contact us and we are happy to help you think it through.
Is what I share in sessions kept private?
At the start of each programme, all participants agree to a shared understanding of confidentiality. What is discussed in the room stays in the room. Facilitators operate under the same principle.
What are the payment options?
Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit. Payment details are provided upon confirming your place. We accept bank transfer. For the cohort programme, we can discuss a two-part payment arrangement — just ask when you enquire.
